Our company started as a manufacturer of beveled glass panels in 1977. At that time we sold primarily to restaurants and hotels. There wasn't much residential market for our panels then, so we had to create one by advertising to the homeowner.
Over the years, as our products were seen in commercial establishments and in our ads, more and more customers came to us from all over the country.
We began to develop dealers to display, receive and install our products. As the dealer base grew, we became "wholesale" only and now we have both displaying and stocking dealers coast to coast.
Along with the growth of the dealer family, came requests for doors and sidelites in which to put the glass panels. We also pioneered the fabrication of "triple-glazing" the art glass panels to protect and insulate the inserts. Now that has become a standard in the industry.
It wasn't long before we were able to offer the entire entry, pre-hung and ready to be installed into the opening by our dealers or their customers. We continue to strive to build "customer-proof" entry systems . . . that can be a little forgiving when the homeowner forgets to keep a good, protective coat of finish on the wood. We are getting closer now with our new "grafted coatings" prefinishing capabilities. The prefinishing of the entry systems has been introduced to the national market.
